Global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter has launched a new tool that allows clients to assess and optimise their reinsurance structure.

The new MetaRisk Live tool enables clients to instantly evaluate the impact of any changes to their reinsurance structure, leveraging Guy Carpenter’s MetaRisk platform – which is a comprehensive suite of underwriting, reserve, catastrophe, credit, and investment risk capabilities.

According to a release, MetaRisk Live generates “easy-to-interpret results illustrating the effects of structure adjustments through custom performance indicators,” which are attuned to the company’s unique key performance indicators (KPIs). This real-time evaluation allows a more efficient work process, allowing clients to align their approaches to reinsurance goals and objectives more quickly, a release said.

“MetaRisk Live is a fantastic example of how we are innovating and collaborating with our clients to drive better and more-informed reinsurance decisions,” said Guy Carpenter North America CEO John Trace. “Our ability to combine advanced analytics and critical thinking to deliver a dynamic, ‘live’ reinsurance structuring experience will help our clients better navigate today’s challenging market environment and bring our engagement to the next level.”
