USA: Congress tightens Refugee Status Requirements against Syria

Speaker Ryan PaulNEWSZENTS NY: The Republican controlled US Congress yesterday put on hold  the approval and confirmation President Obama’s nominee for the Under Secretary  position and also went ahead to increase the requirement for refugees from Syria before they could step on America soil.

Among the requirements  which the GOP is willing to stake for the sake of national Security will be for the CIA, and FBI to guarantee any of  the approved refugees will never be involved in any future attacks in America, meaning, if they could not put their job on the line to guarantee any of those refugees they approved, they better not do it at all.

This bill is expected to be vetoed by President Obama, which will give the Republican Party an opportunity to drag the issue to the election year, about 45 Democrats in the Congress joined the Republicans to vote against the Syrian refugees.
