Nigeria: The world’s largest refinery in Lagos by Dangote

NigeriaDangote Oil Refinery Company Limited has said its 600,000 barrels of crude oil per day (bpd) plant located at the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos would be the world’s largest refinery.
The refinery, sited on 2,600 hectares of land will produce gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel/household kerosene, slurry as raw material for carbon black, as well as 750,000 mtpa of polypropylene and fertilizer. On completion, he said the refinery would become the first of its kind, having the largest single train refinery in the world.
